1.1.0 Welcome

Hollywood Scoring Tools is the groundbreaking all-in-one scoring tool that puts an entire orchestra, a full band, world instruments, synthesizers, and percussion at your fingertips, all working together in a single, unified environment.

With 164 expertly recorded and designed instruments spanning five diverse categories and 300+ animated Scores that bring your arrangements to life, it gives you everything you need to go from initial idea to finished composition.

The Find tab — **Find**: the Score Browser, where 300+ Scores filter by genre, style and time signature.

At its core is the Scoring Engine, a 10-slot composition environment where you load instruments, browse and customize Scores, shape dynamics with the mod wheel, and animate your arrangement with a powerful per-slot arpeggiator.

The Shape tab — **Shape**: the Dynamic Mixer, where ten slots are balanced against the mod wheel.

Whether you’re scoring for film, television, games, or any creative project, Hollywood Scoring Tools is designed to both inspire your original compositions and quickly fill out your arrangements, all of it running inside EastWest’s powerful sample engine, Opus.

The Play tab — **Play**: the Arpeggiator, where each slot's note order, rate and velocity are set.
